Special Needs: Deaf
Description: Magnolia is a very sweet older cocker. Shes very spunky and loves everybody. She is also totally DEAF! The vet thinks its from chronic ear infections that were left untreated. Despite being deaf she gets along great. If i want to get her attention I will flash the light switch a few times and she looks right at me.. Also when shes sleeping soundly in her crate I will open the door and tap on the crate and usually she feels that if not will gently pet her head till she wakes up! Shes a heavy sleeper!! shes soooo cute and sweet!!
She also has pretty severe hair loss on her back and belly but the vet thinks its just from malnutrition and it should all come back given time and good food!
She was saved from a high kill shelter in Union county and is so happy being in the house. If you are looking for a quiet little buddy to hang out with Magnolia might be your girl.
